Welcome to the Triumph Sports Car Club of San Diego's Web Page. You have expressed a keen interest in Triumphs and probably live near San Diego. If so, then you are in luck! We are a club that takes great delight in motoring around in our Triumphs to various events throughout the year and sharing our stories of "triumph" as well as anguish (these cars require attention you know.)
We are a chapter of The Vintage Triumph Register.
Check out our Facebook page here.
So explore our pages, and if you are interested in joining our club, we'd love to have you! We do a lot of fun things and the people are friendly. (Click the "Join Now or Renew ..." button to go to an online form, or click here for a printable form you can mail in.)
Every year, on February 10th, we go out and celebrate the birthday of Sir John Black by driving our Triumphs on that day and having a picnic complete with cake. Who was Sir John Black? Why, he was the man responsible for the TR line of Triumphs which brought much fame and glory in the world of motorsport racing. The whole world celebrates that day and sends their pictures to https://driveyourtriumphday.smugmug.com/. There are hundreds of photos from around the world, including ours. But click here to see the just the club pictures.
In November, we drive down olde Highway 80, the highway the brought more people to Southern California in the 40's and 50's than Route 66. It's now a lonely two-lane highway that meanders through barren country and forgotten towns, but with many historic sites along the way. Here is a facebook video of our group going through the Motor Transport Museum in Campo, which is more of a junkyard than a museum. We had to see the three Triumphs that were laid to rest on the grounds. May they Rust In Peace!
