Crusin' Grand Night, August 16, 2024:  

The club turned out in force for British (& German) Car Night at Escondido’s Crusin’ Grand.  For the first time in recent memory, the British cars far outnumbered their German counterparts.  Among the cars in attendance were Classic Minis, a Sunbeam Tiger, a few Austin-Healeys, a couple of MGs, a Pre-war Lagonda, and many Triumphs.  The Triumphs appeared to be fully half of all the British cars and included a Long-Door TR2.  Although the weather was a bit muggy everyone appeared to have fun swapping stories and sharing tips on parts and maintenance.

In November, a group of intrepid Triumphs, one Healey, and two motorcycles journeyed on old highways in South San Diego, exploring the backroads and tasting the local and notable fares.  For an overview of the journey, here is the route with major stops highlighted.  And click on the following links for photos and a video of the drive.
